Topic : why I like reading the newspaper
Title : why I like reading kompas
          Nowadays, we have so many ways to communicate with other people. According to human communication in America, communication is divided into five categories; they are interpersonal communications, group communications, organizational communications, mass communications, and public communications. Communication uses the mass media like magazines and newspapers or radio and television. It’s handled by institutions fo public or community everywhere and anytime. Which can be accessed everywhere and anytime. The easiest and the most practical form of mass media is newspaper, for example like kompas. Many people like reading kompas including me. There are some reasons why I like reading kompas instead of other newspapers.
          Firstly, kompas expands our mind. By reading kompas, we can expand knowledge about politics, economics, sports, life style, etcetera. Because of these, automatically, it can widen horizon. Indirectly and directly, kompas can give us how to think rationally. Because of reading kompas, we get much knowledge. So, it will make us think creatively. If we are creative human we can invent a knowledge that is useful for human beings. So, indirectly too, through articles which are provided in kompas give benefit for human beings. Indirect too kompas newspaper teaches us knowledge about law. So, we are as Indonesia of society can be good society.
          Secondly, besides kompas newspaper expands our mind. It can widen our horizon, kompas also increases out linguistic competence. We will learn how to speak well from reading kompas newspaper. By reading kompas indirectly, we will learn how to read well from kompas newspaper. Besides that, through every column in kompas newspaper provides much knowledge, then we get much inspirations to write something useful/ then, reading newspaper especially  kompas newspaper, we will help us to expand, develop, arrange our vocabulary well. There are many terms in every column of newspaper. Than, we can search the meaning of those term in dictionary and many sources.


          Thirdly, reading newspaper especially kompas newspaper we get much knowledge from it. By improving our knowledge we also improve our memory because when we are reading something particulary we read it more than  one time, it can help us to train our brain to remember something. And then, by that way, our memory will be increase because of it. Another that, by always reading it can also train to sharpen our left brain, as we know that left brain has a function as creativity. Because of reading newspaper and make it daily habitual it will make us being critical person like critism in economy scale and etc. Another that, by reading, especially reading kompas newspaper not only to get knowledge but also to train self confidence, for example when we are speaking in front of the audience, we will be confidence person because we have had much knowledge that we get from kompas newspaper.
